Rosewood Shanghai is expected to open in 2028 in Shanghai's Jing'an District, set within Palladia Place in the Suhewan area along Suzhou Creek. The hotel will occupy the upper floors of the tallest tower in the Foster + Partners-designed development, rising about 320 metres above Puxi with views across the city and towards the Huangpu River corridor.

Inside, the hotel will have about 200 guestrooms and suites, five dining and drinking venues, and Rosewood's Asaya wellness concept. Plans also include a spa, swimming pool, gym, sheltered sky gardens and a helipad for VIP arrivals. Palladia Place will combine the hotel with two office towers and a retail podium.
