Rosewood Rome is planned across three early-1900s buildings on Via Vittorio Veneto, including the former headquarters of Banca Nazionale del Lavoro. The main building was designed by Italian architect and urban planner Marcello Piacentini. The current Rosewood property page says the hotel will open in 2027.

Current plans include 155 rooms and suites, including 50 suites. The hotel is also expected to have a contemporary Italian bistro, a lobby bar and cafe, and a rooftop bar with a terrace overlooking Rome.

The former bank vault is planned as a Roman bathhouse. The rooftop Asaya Spa is expected to have four treatment rooms, a wellness terrace and reflecting pool, alongside a fitness centre, three meeting rooms and a grand ballroom.
