Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla will bring an intimate hotel to the Generali Building on Plaza Nueva, in Seville’s Arenal Quarter. Built in 1957 on the former Hotel Royal site, the landmark has façades on Plaza Nueva, Calle Tetuán and Calle Jaén. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will operate the property with Spanish real estate investment firm Blasson.

The hotel is planned with approximately 55 rooms and suites, ranging from about 40 to 117 square metres and including a Presidential Suite. Madrid-based Estudio Lamela is leading the architecture, with interiors by Belén Domecq. Plans include a street-level restaurant opening onto Plaza Nueva, a rooftop restaurant and bar with city views, a ground-floor lounge, a basement spa, a fitness centre and a rooftop swimming pool overlooking Seville’s historic skyline.

Opening is planned for 2028. It will be the group’s third property in Spain after Madrid and Mallorca, close to Seville Cathedral, Archivo de Indias and the Royal Alcázar.
